The Catholic Post’s monthly book page is back with a new millennium twist: an invitation to join an online discussion of a Post “Book of the Month.”

The discussions will take place on a “Catholic Post Book Group” blog that has been created by book page editor Nancy Piccione of Metamora. It can be accessed by clicking the book icon in the left margin of this page.

There you will find Nancy’s introductory column plus her review of the first Book of the Month selection — “Treasure in Clay,” the autobiography of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen. Throughout the month, Nancy will post thoughts about the book and invite reader comments.

Plans also call for regional face-to-face book group gatherings. We invite persons interested in organizing a monthly book chat in their community to call The Post at 1-800-340-5630 for details.
