Married couples sought to help prepare others

The Office of Family Life of the Diocese of Peoria is looking for married couples to assist with diocesan marriage preparation programs.

“An essential component of a couple’s successful preparation for marriage is the witness of Christian marriage by those who help prepare them for marriage, said Craig Dyke, associate director. “The Office of Family Life extends an invitation to married couples who desire to witness to married love centered on Christ and lived out through their sacramental bond.”

A training seminar will be offered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Spalding Pastoral Center in Peoria for those interested in volunteering. To register or inquire about the opportunity, contact Dyke at cdyke@cdop.org or (309) 671-1550, ext. 227.
