GALESBURG — Even those who help need help sometimes.

Knox County Right to Life is sponsoring the Sixth Annual Community Baby Shower Brunch for The Women’s Pregnancy Center of Galesburg on Saturday, Aug. 1, at Lake Storey Park, Shelter No. 2. It will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

In the past, donors have been invited to bring baby items or maternity clothes to the brunch, but this year’s severe storms have left the facility with another set of needs.

To help the staff continue its mission, Knox County Right to Life is asking people to make monetary donations at this year’s baby shower. Regnier said the proceeds would be used to help The Women’s Pregnancy Center cover anything that insurance doesn’t fully cover.
