WEST PEORIA — The Sisters of St. Francis of the Immaculate Conception are inviting area Catholics to join them in praying for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life during an adoration hour of prayer on Sunday, May 3.

Adoration will take place from 1:15 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Immaculate Conception Convent, 2408 W. Heading Ave. Evening prayer and Benediction will follow from 2 to 2:15 p.m.

Also known as the Heading Avenue Franciscans, the Sisters have an adoration hour of prayer each month. They are focusing on vocations in May because the World Day of Prayer for Vocations is celebrated on May 3.
