Post Poll: How to welcome visitors at Mass?

On Easter Sunday in churches throughout the Diocese of Peoria, pews were filled with visitors and Catholics who may only attend Mass a few times a year. Our poll question this week is: “How can we better welcome visitors and newcomers to our parishes at Mass throughout the year?”

Some side questions to consider: Does your parish have a practice that has been successful? Do you have an idea on how to make Mass more visitor friendly? How much of the responsibility for doing so is on the priest, the ushers/greeters, the people in the pews, and the visitors themselves?
