GALESBURG — Father William Miller, IC, will be the spiritual director for “A Marian Preparation for Christmas,” which will be hosted by the Peoria Diocesan Council of Catholic Women on Wednesday, Dec. 8. The day will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 273 S. Prairie St.

Father Miller is pastor of Corpus Christ, as well as St. Patrick’s in Galesburg and Sacred Heart in Abingdon.

After registration at 9:30 a.m. and a welcome at 10 a.m., there will be reflections by Father Miller. A rosary is planned for 11:50 a.m. and will be followed by Mass and a luncheon.

During eucharistic adoration at 1:45 p.m., participants will have an opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of reconciliation. The day will close with Benediction at 2:30 p.m.
