List of "Behold" women bloggers includes many Catholic 'heroes'

Everyone needs heroes and inviting Catholic women bloggers was one way of providing them for the 560 participants at “Behold: A Catholic Conference on the Dignity and Vocation of Women,” said executive director Rose Marie Rudolph.

“Women need to see good, holy Catholic women,” she told The Catholic Post. “I love to provide heroes for people. To connect people. . . .”

“What they’re writing is completely orthodox,” said Bonnie Engstrom, associate director of Behold and the author of learningtobeanewlywed.blogspot.com. “They’re talking about their motherhood or being a working mom or marriage or fashion -- whatever it is, the bloggers who are present here, everything they’re saying is totally faithful to the church.”

The new component for “Behold” was suggested and coordinated by Nancy Piccione of Metamora, one of the 37 directors for the conference. The bloggers who accepted her invitation to attend included:
